Raise the Roof 2021
Habitat for Humanity is helping its 40th family build a new home with an affordable mortgage. Skagit Bicycle Club is helping Habitat raise funds by hosting a bicycle ride from Sedro-Woolley on June 19, 2021.
Three routes will be available:
Social pace - Head east along the Skagit River to Hamilton, enjoy the beautiful Crockerham Island Rd along the way. Click here to see the route in Ride With GPS.
Moderate pace - Head out of town on F&S Grade Road on your way up to Alger and back by Butler Creek Road and Fruitdale Road. Click here to see the route in Ride With GPS.
Brisk pace - Head out of town on F&S Grade Road and then up the hill on Grip Road and eventually to Alger. Then enjoy Friday Creek Road and the downhill ride back into town on F&S Grade. Click here to see the route in Ride With GPS.
The ride will start at 9:30 am from the parking lot of the Woolley Market at 302 Metcalf St in Sedro-Woolley. We'll finish the ride at the Habitat building site in Sedro-Woolley where you can meet some of the hard working volunteers that help Habitat build houses and the new homeowners. There will be Jersey Mike's Sub Bites and other great snacks compliments of Skagit Gleaners to enjoy while you check out the build and mingle.
You must register for the ride using the Event Calendar on the Skagit Bicycle Club website or complete a paper waiver at the meeting spot before the ride begins.
